Below is a project where we dug out the garden to make a lager seating area and a retaining sleeper wall was installed

then we laid Indian sandstone.

Key Features for laying a sandstone patio

 

• Dig out the base use a weed membrane and lay and compact a solid  Base with lime stone
• Laid on a completed Bed of sand and cement Base to stop water from getting under the patio and give a firm secure fix
• Hand point in once the patio is laid with a strong and equal mix to assure the color throughout the whole patio is the same
• all joints as pictured are making a pattern with broken lines in the design
